When is a Jupiter milestone inspection due?
At 30 years from the certificate of occupancy, then every 10 years, for condominium and cooperative buildings of three or more habitable stories. That is the statewide default under F.S. §553.899(3). Palm Beach County has no countywide ordinance, so each municipality is its own Local Enforcement Agency, and Jupiter has not adopted the earlier trigger.
Twenty-five years applies only where a Local Enforcement Agency affirmatively adopted it under F.S. §553.899(3)(b). Jupiter Ordinance 18-23 amends Florida Building Code administration; it does not exercise that option.
