Deadline worksheet
Enter a Certificate of Occupancy date and select a jurisdiction to see the trigger age, the first due date, the recurring cycle and the authority behind the determination.
The Direct Answer
The first milestone inspection is due at the trigger age measured from the building’s Certificate of Occupancy, then every 10 years. The trigger age is 30 years under the statewide default, or 25 years where the Local Enforcement Agency adopted that trigger. Because Florida keeps no registry of those local adoptions, this tool shows the authority, verification date and any required confirmation.
Limits Of The Tool
01
A past date may have been inspected, extended or resolved. The tool never asserts compliance status.
02
It does not locate the building relative to the coastal line or count habitable stories.
03
A presumed state default should be confirmed before reliance. Review every jurisdiction.
